VISION: “Our Vision is to build you up inwardly, to send you outwardly into the calling of God for your life.”
MISSION: “Our mission is to normalize Christ and never dilute His power.”
In Hebrews 5 and 6, Paul addresses some major problems with the church at the time — they had become dull of hearing, unable to discern good from evil, and had a lack of knowledge of the Word of God. They should have been teachers by that point, but still needed to understand the basics of the faith.
In our current culture, some of the same trends remain true. That is why our desire is to make sure the doctrines (below) which are foundational to the Christian faith are kept prominent at our church. Without these doctrines, a Christian remains stuck in immaturity. When these doctrines are understood, they create an unshakeable foundation.
Therefore, our ministry is built on the seven foundational doctrines Paul addresses in Hebrews 6:1-7.
1. Doctrine of Christ:
We believe Jesus is the living word of God, and his word is alive and the only truth. We also believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
2. Doctrine of Repentance:
We believe in repentance unto salvation, and also living a lifestyle of repentance from anything that may be hindering your walk with Jesus.
3. Doctrine of Faith in God:
We believe putting your faith in God beyond anything or anyone else is the way to live. We are not ashamed of our faith in God.
4. Doctrine of Baptisms
We believe there are 3 major baptisms (Baptism into the Body of Christ (I Cor. 12:13), Baptism into water (Matt.3:13-17), and baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8).
5. Doctrine of the laying on of hands:
We believe in the power of impartation, healing, deliverance, transfer of authority and more.
6. Doctrine of resurrection of the dead:
We believe that Jesus has risen from the dead, and that a person experiences death to life spiritually when they give their life to Christ. We believe the second coming is where Believers will be resurrected into their glorified bodies. Lastly, we believe that man can be risen from the dead here on earth by the power of the Holy Spirit.
7. Doctrine of Eternal Judgment:
We believe there will come a day where we stand before the Lord and enter into heaven or the lake of fire which many call “hell’. Our mission is to prepare the saints for a glorious living that will not just get them into heaven but help them walk heavenly on this earth.
